From the Deputy PrincipalDecember 07, 2018
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our students and their families for another incredible year at the College. Final reports for students in Pre-primary to Year 10 have been uploaded onto the College portal (Year 11 students should already have accessed theirs). Not only have we much personal excellence to celebrate through academic achievement, but more importantly, students should be congratulated on how they have approached their learning through their transdisciplinary or approaches to learning skills.
A new initiative this year was held in the final week of term for our Year 9s, as a very successful Personal Project Workshop Day was held and was assisted by 12 Year 10s who acted as mentors for the girls who are now almost half way through their project. We are looking forward to viewing their final products and reports next year. Our students are clearly assuming ownership of their learning journey. In turn, we are awaiting the arrival of our graduating class of 2018’s WACE results and we know we will have much to celebrate with the College community in the new year. We have received excellent news that all of our Year 12s in the Vocational Pathway have completed a minimum of a Certificate III and 8 students completed a Certificate IV – congratulations to all.
Once again it has been a fine end to the year. We wish all staff and students a happy and holy Christmas break.
