Pre Kindy to Year 6 at St Brigid’s College, high impact teaching in a nurturing environment
At St Brigid’s College, we light the way for all our students…..We believe that every student deserves the opportunity to become a successful learner and a confident, creative individual, who is not just good at learning but good at life. Many in the community are well aware of St Brigid’s College for students in Years 7 to 12. However, our Primary campus, located side-by-side to our Secondary campus, is filled daily with the laughter, learning and fun, in a high impact teaching environment. Our passionate and highly skilled educators utilise evidence-based and researched strategies, placing a strong emphasis on literacy and numeracy in our classrooms. Through inquiry learning, project-based, and deep learning, students not only acquire knowledge but also learn how to apply it effectively in real-world scenarios. Our co-educational primary campus (Pre-Kindy to Year 6) is supported by our Head of Primary, Ms. Anne Tan, as well as our Deans of Students Ms. Christine Padua and Ms. Catherine Brink. Together they champion the education vision implemented daily, whilst, fostering a culture where our educators are inspired to evolve into proficient researchers and implementers of cutting-edge teaching methodologies across various disciplines, benefiting our young learners. If you’re considering enrolling your child at St Brigid’s College we warmly invite you to contact our College Registrar, Patty Majko at or for a conversation, call us on 9290 4200. Tiny Mic Ministry Launches at SBC
Tiny Mic Ministry (TMM) has hit the ground running across the SBC campus this term. A brand-new initiative by Year 12 Leaders, Anja H (the spokesperson), Serena T (content developer) and Olivia R (fundraising & engagement officer). Tiny Mic Ministry is a 2024 Ministry initiative aimed at engaging more young people to be involved in fundraising events that better the lives of people less fortunate than ourselves. Conceptualised by Anja (inspired by a little bit of online shopping where she spotted the said Tiny Mic), the idea behind TMM was stemmed from the notion that people are less inclined to donate money when they don’t understand where the money is going. What better way to bring it to life but with some vibrant roving reporting around campus. As a Mercy school, St Brigid’s has a long history of providing assistance to our brothers and sisters in Australia and overseas. As the world around us changes, the ways we engage in raising funds and awareness needs to evolve. Tiny Mic Ministry aims to utilise the expansive platform of social media to raise awareness and much needed funds, for various initiatives throughout the year at SBC, in a fun and engaging way. We’ll be looking forward to more fourth-wall breaking news brought to us by our students behind Tiny Mic Ministry. Keep an eye on the SBC socials on Facebook and Instagram for more Tiny Mic Ministry videos and reels!
